DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 2, 2013.  NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

PYSA will be hosting two sign-up events.

When:     May 23     5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

                 May 30     5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Where:    Kerr Dam Soccer Fields

Cost:        $35 if registered by June 10, $50 if registered after June 10

Players must be 5 years old by August 1, 2013 to register.  Season will run September 15 through October 13.  If you cannot attend one of the sign-up events, you can download the 2013 Fall Registration Form and send along with payment to: PYSA, P.O. Box 1337, Polson, MT 59860.  Registrations will only be accepted at the sign-up events or if sent to the P.O. box.  Please do not turn into the schools.  We are always in need of volunteers to coach, referee, and prepare fields so please indicate on the registration form how you can help.  Email questions to: info@polsonyouthsoccer.org.

ROSTERS ARE COMPLETE AND COACHES ASSIGNED.  CHECK OUT THE “TEAMS” TAB TO SEE WHAT TEAMS ARE REGISTERED AND WHO ARE THE COACHES.  YOU SHOULD BE HEARING VERY SOON FROM YOUR COACH IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY.  MOST TEAMS ARE STARTING INDOOR TRAINING NOW.  OUTSIDE PRACTICE WILL BEGIN WHEN WEATHER PERMITS.

The price this year includes the purchase of a new uniform (two jerseys, shorts, two pairs of socks). Last year we did not include the uniform cost in the registration fee. If people wanted to purchase any uniform piece, they paid for it separately. After three years of using the same uniforms, they are getting worn out and too small. Therefore, we decided to purchase new uniforms for all teams. PYSA offers payment plans and scholarships are available in exchange for volunteer hours. What: Spring Soccer is a more competitive soccer program than Fall Recreational League.  Teams will travel on many Saturdays between April and June.

Who: Players who want to play competitively, and are willing to travel.  Ages U9 – U19.  (See the Age Chart to determine your soccer age.)

When: Some teams begin practicing indoors after the first of the year.  Outdoor practice usually begins after the snow melts.  Games are April – June.

How: PYSA is hosting two sign up events: December 3 and January 8 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Polson High School Commons. You can also download the forms and send to P.O. Box 1337, Polson, MT 59860.  Registration deadline is January 15, 2013.  Registration forms will only be accepted at the sign up events or at P.O. Box.

Cost:   Academy (U9- U11) $230, Select (U12-U19) $290 (prices include uniform)

Registration is complete when the following are received:

• Signed Spring Registration – Medical Release Form

• Signed Parent – Player Code of Conduct Form
  

• Signed MYSA Concussion Form

• Completed Polson FC Uniform Order Form
  

• Payment or payment arrangement (PYSA offers payment plans and Financial Assistance)

Olympic Development Program try-outs will be held November 3 and 4 in Helena.

The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program was introduced to help identify potential national team youth players through an organized series of trials which begins at the district level, progresses through the state, regional and finally the national level. The program also serves as a means of development as the players identified are brought together for training and prepared for interstate, inter regional and international competitions. The development of the players is taking place rapidly as talented players are brought together for training and competition at all levels. Training and playing with those of equal or greater ability is a tremendous teaching tool. The program is open to any youth player with birth years 1996-2001. PYSA is excited to announce that the leading provider of soccer camps in the United States and Canada is coming to Polson this summer.  British Soccer Camps provide players of all ages and abilities with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international experts. Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a daily tournament. Equally important, the Challenger coaching staff provides your child with lessons in respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership.
