Spring Coach Info

Over the next few months, the Board of Directors will start putting together teams and matching them up with coaches.
We encourage anyone that is interested in coaching in the spring to send an email to info@polsonyouthsoccer.org by Monday, October 24th.  Please indicate the age and gender of the team you would like to coach.  It is PYSA’s policy that players will play in their age-group unless player ability, roster needs and/or availability of coaches dictate that a player should play in a different age group. 

If you are open to coaching any team, please indicate this as well.  We would prefer to have the problem of too many coaches than too few, so put your name in if you are interested.  If you are not sure about being a head coach, there will be plenty of opportunity to learn as an assistant coach.

In an effort to create a positive experience for all our athletes, we will be looking at the following criteria:
  • Experience
  • Credentials (prior training and licensing)
  • Parent and Player Feedback
  • Willingness to work with other coaches
  • A coaching philosophy that is in alignment with the PYSA Vision and Mission Statements (see below).
